Kingsoft Office (金山办公, 688111:SH), a subsidiary of the Hong Kong bourse-listed Kingsoft Corporation (金山软件, 3888:HK), has passed the final review and is now preparing to start trading its stock on the Shanghai Stock Exchange Sci-Tech Innovation Board, known as the Star Market. In its prospectus Kingsoft Office claims to be the country’s “leading” office software and service provider, competing against US software giant Microsoft with products such as WPS Office.

Kingsoft Corporation (Chinese: 金山软件; pinyin: Jīnshān Ruǎnjiàn) is a Chinese software company based in Beijing. The company was founded in 1988 by Qiu Bojun.[2] Kingsoft operates four subsidiaries: Seasun for video game development, Cheetah Mobile for mobile internet apps,[3] Kingsoft Cloud for cloud storage platforms, and WPS for office software, including WPS Office.[4] It also produced security software as Kingsoft Security.[5] The company is listed on the Hong Kong stock market.[6] The company reached its prime during 2008–2010.[citation needed] However, later Bojun sold his 15.68% stake in Kingsoft to Tencent in July 2011.[7]
Kingsoft Cloud is a Cloud Computing company in China. It owns data centers in mainland China, Hong Kong, Russia, Southeast Asia, and North America.[8]
Its most popular game is JX Online 3, launched in 2009.[9]
