Will the impact on Browser Content Redirection affect Microsoft Teams optimization?
The removal of the Browser Content redirection feature does not directly impact the optimization for native Microsoft Teams within a virtual environment. We have a robust Microsoft Teams feature set built into the Workspace app LTSR that will remain the same throughout the lifecycle of the LTSR client with quality and bug fixes. Note: we recommend that organizations wanting continuous access to the latest features leverage the Current Releases of the Workspace app.
I am a customer using Citrix Receiver LTSR 4.9 wanting to update to Citrix Workspace app 1912 LTSR for Windows. How does this change impact me?
Citrix Receiver LTSR 4.9 users can seamlessly update to Citrix Workspace app 1912 LTSR. As long as you are not looking at using the browser content redirection feature, there should be no impact. If you launch SaaS and Web based apps from Citrix Workspace app, these apps will be launched using Citrix Secure Browser service (due to the absence of Citrix Embedded Browser).
I am a customer using Citrix Workspace app CR 1911. What version/release should I update to?
Citrix has released Citrix Workspace app 2002 for Windows. This is a CR release. It is recommended that all customers following the CR track update to Citrix Workspace app 2002 and NOT Citrix Workspace app 1912 LTSR. Citrix Workspace app 1912 is intended for LTSR customers only.

I updated from Citrix Workspace app 1911 to Citrix Workspace app 1912 LTSR. What happens to the Citrix embedded browser component which was installed?
If you update from a previous CR release of Citrix Workspace app to Citrix Workspace app 1912 LTSR, the embedded browser component will be uninstalled. This will cause the Browser Content Redirection feature to stop working. Web and SaaS based application will not be launched in the embedded browser. These apps will launch using the Citrix Secure Browser Service.

Free volvo ptt 2.04.87 and installationauto diagnostic tool. Note that this vulnerability was originally reported against a subset of the versions above. However, further investigation has discovered potential variant forms of this attack and the affected versions have been amended accordingly.
This vulnerability does not affect Citrix Workspace app on any other platforms or any supported versions of Citrix Receiver.
Mitigating Factors
This vulnerability only exists if Citrix Workspace app was installed using an account with local or domain administrator privileges. It does not exist when a standard Windows user installed Citrix Workspace app for Windows.
A remote compromise is only possible when the user has enabled Windows file sharing (SMB) and only when the updater service is running. If authentication is required for SMB then an attacker must be able to authenticate before they could exploit this issue.
Users with automatic updates enabled and applied should have already been updated to a fixed version.
What Customers Should Do
The issue has been addressed in the following versions of Citrix Workspace app for Windows:
- Citrix Workspace App 2008 or later
- Citrix Workspace App 1912 LTSR CU1 Hotfix 1 (19.12.1001) and later cumulative updates
Note that these versions have been updated since the original publication of this bulletin.
Citrix strongly recommends that customers check if the version they are running has been automatically updated and, if necessary, upgrade to a fixed version as soon as possible.
