Mousewheel support (controls volume, or seeks when pressed) Saves prefs even if you shut down while winamp is running; Skins can now change the color of most of Winamp's dialogs (see dialogs.txt in Skins DColor). I was using Winamp 2.81 just fine, playing some MP3's. I loaded a directory of them. Suddenly, no sound. I got no sound playing MP3's, WAV's, MID's. Best mp3 player for very old (Win95 8MB ram) laptop
Winamp 2.81 Download
So the question is, what's the best mp3 player to use for such an old piece of shit?
BTW. Here's what I've tested so far.
- I tried Winamp 2.64 (that was the oldest version I had tucked away on my harddrive) but it wouldn't even open.
- I downloaded Winamp 1.00 from oldversion.com and it runs ok, he could use this one but there is no playlist support. Any other suggestions of what else to try.
Thanks.
